Fury Girl with Stephen, the best dressed man of the night!

You really have to try not to have a good time at the Fury Key West Holiday Party, and this year was no different. The crew was out dressed to the nines ready for a celebration at the rooftop bar at La Concha.

As the company keeps growing, the turnout for the party grows exponentially. I arrived with Nicole, Annabelle, and Westy. When the elevator doors opened, Scott and Marius were there to greet us, and the bar was absolutely bustling. We made our way into the ballroom with a delicious buffet spread, a DJ, and of course, more of the Fury crew!

A lot of things signify the holidays, and the holiday movie season is always huge. With Golden Globe nominations recently announced and Oscar talk buzzing, a slew of highly anticipated movies are being released within the next two weeks.

Fortunately for us in Key West, we have a gem of an independent movie house right in the heart of Old Town Key West. Of course, I’m talking about the Tropic Cinema with its art deco façade and intimate theaters.

Cory Heydon Band & Friends.

Earlier this fall, the Cory Heydon Band reached a monumental milestone- 1,000 Commotion on the Ocean performances and still going strong! We couldn’t let this occasion slip away without notice! In typical Fury fashion, we threw Cory a rockin’ shindig aboard the Caribbean Fury.

Ever the hard worker, Cory was the entertainment for his own party, along with longtime bandmates Tom & Terry. He also roped in some special guest musicians for the task: John Solinski, Chris Thomas, Jeep Couillett, Chris Cooke, and Eric Holt.

The gang assembled around the Thanksgiving table.

How was your Thanksgiving? At Fury, we had a blast on the Thanksgiving Day Ultimate Adventure, as usual! The fleet was out in full force with all vessels manned by the friendly Fury crew.

If you’ve never celebrated your Thanksgiving out at sea, you’re definitely missing out on a really unique (and warm!) way to celebrate the holidays. We shoved off at 10am and headed for the reef for a morning of snorkeling. Breakfast was served on the way. It was truly a beautiful day!

The Parrotheads landed! As if Key West wasn’t already a year round haven for Jimmy Buffett die-hards, the annual Meeting of the Minds week was a time to come together and live the dream!

As always, Fury Key West had the Parrotheads covered with our annual Meeting of the Minds Commotion on the Ocean sunset sail. This year we rocked out two whole nights. Friday singer/songwriter and perennial favorite Scott Kirby played his beach-folky storyteller-style songs as he picked his fingerstyle guitar to a sold out crowd.
