Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! I have to admit, I’m a sucker for this holiday. Call me an optimist or a hopeless romantic, but I just love the idea of a day dedicated to love! Over the years, whether I’ve been single or coupled up on February 14, I always strive to make the day special, and remind the wonderful people in my life just how important they are to me.

After all, a little romance goes a long way… Tonight, for instance, Fury’s dedicating its sunset sail to Valentine’s Day. Take your sweetie out on the warm, tropic waters of Key West Harbor, sip on champagne, and feed each other strawberries while the sun sinks into the ocean and the sky lights up in an amazing color show.

The last sunset of 2010.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times: New Year’s is my favorite holiday. I love everything about it. It’s a chance to reflect on the year that passed and to set goals for the year to come. Not to mention, the potential to have the best party of the year. It’s a time to celebrate with the ones you love!

At Fury Key West, we have a daily tradition made all the more special on New Year’s Eve, and that, of course, is a Key West sunset cruise. We loaded our catamaran with revelers and party favors to toast the last sunset of 2010. Cory Heydon Band was there to rock the night away, and there was free-flowing margaritas, beer, wine, and of course bottles of bubbly!

Adventure Island

If you were dreaming of a white Christmas, depending on where in the country you live, many of your dreams came true. While my family was visiting me for the Christmas holiday, their neighbors in the suburbs of Atlanta were experiencing snowfall.

If you’re anything like the Benowitzes or the Fury crew, then you might have been dreaming of a Christmas in the mid to upper 70′s with bright blue skies and a crystal clear ocean surrounding you. That’s exactly what our customers got aboard Fury on Christmas day.

This time of year never fails to completely sneak up on me and fly by at a breakneck pace! It’s filled with so much excitement and fun, and every year I think I appreciate the holiday season a little more… Holiday cards and shopping, quality time with family, unforgettable parties with friends, and a general sense of goodwill to mankind.

Nothing screams the holidays in Key West like the annual Lighted Boat Parade. It is such a gorgeous spectacle on the water. The harbor fills with schooners, fishing boats, and of course Fury’s catamarans drenched in lights.

The fact that it’s taken me all week long to get my Fantasy Fest wrap-up posted has to mean it was a great party—right?! In fact, it was one for the record books, but aren’t they all? Each and every year is distinct, whether it’s the theme, a great party, great party companions, or an exceptional moment to remember forever.
