Earlier this week, one of our most talented Fury photographers was at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park & Beach around sunset capturing shots of our boats for upcoming marketing materials. He noticed an intimate wedding for a couple, probably in their seventies, taking place just down the beach. If you’ve never been to Fort Zach, it’s one of the most beautiful locales in Key West with sparkling views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. That makes it a popular place for destination weddings on the beach.

Ryan and Ashleigh and their first dance.

It was a decidedly balmy evening as former Fury check-in dude Ryan Schmedeman wed Ashleigh Cline (parasail mate Justin’s sister) at the idyllic Southernmost House. The intimate ceremony was conducted with the placid waters of the Atlantic as the backdrop. Parasail mate Stephen was amongst the groomsmen in handsome tan suits and the bridesmaids looked pretty in mint green confections. (more…)

Apparently there’s a new trend in wedding traditions. After a couple gets married, instead of stashing the white dress and tux in the back of the closet, they partake in a crazy activity and “trash the dress.” We had two couples from Napa, California join us for parasailing this week with just that in mind!
