The 15^th annual Songwriters Festival got underway last night at the Ocean Key Resort and continues through the weekend. Featuring some of the most influential songwriters and musicians from Nashville and around the country, the festival is a highlight for any music lover’s.

The Massacoustics have long had a strong following in Key West, performing regularly at Hogs Breath, the Songwriter’s Festival, and most recently aboard the Commotion on the Ocean. They headlined a sold out sunset earlier this month. I’ll admit, I’d heard the buzz about the Massacoustics for years, but I’d never seen them perform. The Commotion on the Ocean is easily the most popular sunset cruise on the island for both locals and visitors alike. It is truly a one-of-a-kind trip. Aboard the Key West Fury, the newest catamaran in our fleet, you are treated to all you can drink of beer, wine, wine spritzers, champagne, and margaritas along with a smorgasbord of appetizers including chicken wings, meatballs, a cheese tray, a deli tray, and fresh vegetables.
