Fury Surf Shack’s Duval Street facade.

The doors are open! Stroll down the foot of Duval Street and you can’t miss her. The brand new Fury Surf Shack between Front and Green Streets is open for business. You’ll recognize the surfboard at the entrance, the iconic Fury logo, and the Key West Quiksilver destination t-shirts in the window. Inside this spacious new shop, you’ll find something for everyone.

Only two weeks ago, Marius showed me the completely empty space, and now its full of killer merchandise. Yesterday was its first full day of business, so I swung by after work to take a look. The walls were gleaming with bikinis and board shorts, and the racks were full of stylish cover-ups, t-shirts, and flip-flops.

Meredith was working and she pointed out a cute pink and black striped Volcom bikini that she wanted, as well as a scandalous black Brazilian cut bikini. I tried on a black RVCA romper and some soft cotton Roxy loungewear shorts that looked like acid washed denim. There were lots of colorful, long dresses, perfect for a breezy evening on the island.

For the men, there were some pretty swank button-down shirts by RVCA, as well as the requisite casual surfwear. Of course, if you’re in search of great accessories like sports watches, sunglasses, skateboards, and hats, the Surf Shack has you covered with the best brands: Rip Curl, Ray Ban, Von Zipper, Sector Nine, Quiksilver, and the list goes on and on! There’s also an excellent selection of surf wear for the little tikes in your life.

While I was there, Marius came in to proudly show off all of his hard work. I look forward to doing some serious shopping at Fury on Duval and I’m certain the store will be a major success. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to purchase you’re souvenir Fury crew t-shirts from our new Duval Street location, too. Happy shopping!
