Spring is in the air and the temperatures in Key West have definitely heated up this week. When it gets sweltering on land, there’s no place I’d rather be than on one of our catamarans reef bound.

Congratulations Mariana Fernandez, Fury’s 2011 Grand Prize Winner! Mariana Fernandez has won our Grand Prize—an amazing Key West vacation for two!

She and her husband Javier will enjoy luxury accommodations, complimentary dinner and their choice of a Fury adventure. For Mariana, it’s the grand prize of a lifetime—since she first visited Key West in 2010 she’s been dying to go back.

It was September 2010 when Mariana and her husband Javier came to Key West to celebrate her birthday. Once there, they couldn’t wait to get into the gorgeous water, so they went on Fury’s snorkeling adventure. Although Mariana says she and her husband were a bit daunted by how deep and clear the water was, it only took a few minutes before they were relaxed and awed at the sights they saw all around them.

After her Fury adventure and visiting many of the world famous sights in Key West, Mariana fell in love with the island. She promised herself she would find a way to go back as soon as possible.

When her husband snapped a picture of her snorkeling, Mariana had no idea that it was that picture that would win her another amazing experience with Fury in Key West. But when she saw Fury’s Facebook photo contest after returning home she knew she had to win!

Mariana’s photo quickly became the photo of the month on Fury’s Facebook page and then rallied a whopping 1872 “likes” –thanks to the tenacity of Mariana who encouraged everyone she knew and many people she didn’t to vote for it!

Now, Mariana and Javier will once again return to Key West for an all expense paid vacation—and the Fury Adventure of a lifetime. Will it be parasailing? A ride on the Glass Bottom Boat? Who knows! Whatever they choose, the two will surely have another unforgettable experience.

Congratulations to our 2010 Winners - Steven Singh & Shirley Vera!

Congratulations Steven Singh & Shirley Vera, you’re our Grand Prize Winners! Steven Singh and his fiancé Shirley Vera won an all expense paid vacation for two to Key West, Florida. The couple will be flown from their home in Connecticut to live it up for three nights and four days in Key West. For Singh and Vera, this is truly the trip of a lifetime—it’s their honeymoon!

Steven and Shirley met thirteen years ago when they were both Emergency Medical Service workers in New York. They have been together ever since, living, working and raising their three children together. Now, after years of helping others and supporting each other, they’ve decided to tie the knot. Fury Water Adventures is excited to help them celebrate their love for each other with an all expense paid romantic and adventurous honeymoon on our island paradise.

The couple will wed in New York City and then head to Key West to stay at the Ocean Key Resort, first-class, luxury accommodations located adjacent to the world-famous Mallory Square.
