Key West Dolphins in the WildWorking on the water in Key West, Mother Nature has a way of continually surprising us. It’s safe to say that we never get tired of the crystal clear water, the gorgeous sunsets, and the abundance of marine life at our reef. While it may seem like we’re doing the same thing day in and day out–getting the boats ready, setting sail, heading to the reef with our guests–the truth is every day is different and there’s always something new to discover on the water.

Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins on A Fury TourSince we started our Snorkeling and Dolphin Tours, we’ve been treated to amazing spectacles by our marine mammal friends, the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin. The habitat in the back country is ideal for their feeding and breeding in an environment safe from predators. With the flat, calm waters of summertime, we’ve seen some incredible sights!

About a month ago Captain Bill was at the helm when a pod of roughly 14 dolphins decided to swim along for the ride. Dolphins are always an exciting sighting. It’s possible to spot them aboard any of our trips.

Enjoy the pictures of these amazing porpoises. We hope to see you on our boats soon! In the meantime, we’ll keep an eye out for the dolphins for you!
