Fury boat Chute Happens in the yard

Chute Happens in the yard.

The first few months of the new year are typically a busy time for us at Fury Key West. We’ve been getting our fleet in tiptop shape with Coast Guard inspections, hull inspections, and visits to the yard for fresh coats of paint and maintenance. Only the best in safety and comfort for our guests!

As you probably know by now, Fury acquired three new vessels in 2011, the Cruzan Cat, the Reef Express, and the Dolphin Cat. These are all smaller power catamarans that have allowed us to add so much variety to our offerings, from the Island Adventure to the Double Dip Key West snorkel trip and the Dolphin Watch & Snorkel Adventure.

These three boats have been in the yard getting a fresh coat of Fury paint on them. Now the shiny red, white, and blue Fury logo and stripes can be seen on these girls as they cruise from Key West Harbor to the reef and to the backcountry. Quite a site!

Our catamarans and parasail boats have also been tended to. All of our 65′ sailing catamarans have been freshly painted and our parasail boats are back in the water after hull inspections. A day in the yard can be tough, and it’s definitely not the same as being on the water with you all. But it’s a nice change of pace and definitely a bonding experience for our crew. We work hard to make sure that we’re driving the safest, cleanest, and prettiest boats in Key West. We hope to have you aboard soon!
