We’ve supported the Make-A-Wish program at Fury Water Adventures for years now, and last month we had the opportunity to host another Make-A-Wish child and his family aboard our boats. Young Axel Trippe, along with his mom and dad, truly brightened the two days that he spent with our crew.
On the first day, he enjoyed a VIP tour of The Pride of Key West, our glass bottom boat led by Captain Brian and his crew Mike and Carrie. It was a little too windy to get the boat off the dock, but Axel had a great time getting the grand tour of the vessel with Captain Brian. That evening, he and his parents joined Captain Neil for a Commotion on the Ocean sunset sail. The weather was gorgeous and the crew that evening (John, Tony, Tom and Zoe) did a fantastic job.
For the second day, it was time for a true adventure on the sea and Axel set out on the Dolphin Adventure and Snorkel tour with Captain Ange and Nicole. We named him an honorary captain for the day and an official member of the Fury family. Our own Eliza did a magnificent job coordinating everything. It’s an honor to share special moments like this with a child like Axel and our hearts are warmed to provide him with such a memorable experience aboard our boats.
