Fury’s annual holiday party at Ambrosia sushi bar was a rollicking good time. There are a lot of things we do right at Fury, and partying is definitely one of them. Every year, we seem to outdo ourselves with our ladies dressed to the nines and our gentlemen downright dapper. It’s such an entertaining difference from our daily board shorts and bathing suits routine.
The crew packed the modernist designed space where Marius and Scott donned handsome tuxedoes and greeted the arrivals. As soon as I walked in the door a waiter was right there with champagne on a silver platter. Now that is my kind of party! We mixed and mingled on our way to the sushi buffet and filled our plates with tasty maki and hand rolls. With free-flowing sake and dance music spinning from the DJ, the party swiftly grew lively.
Scott took the mic to thank us all and then to honor a very valuable member of the team. Our boss man Marius has been with the company for fifteen years and Scott made a very poignant toast that got to the very heart of how special he is to our Fury family. As a thank you for Marius’ commitment, Scott announced that in the spring Marius has a getaway booked for the big wave surfing island of Tavarua in Fiji.
Everyone congratulated Marius and spread the holiday cheer. And then we hit the dance floor! It was definitely a great time and everyone seemed to be in good spirits. Eventually, our Fury elf Stephen took charge of passing out the rest of the crew’s presents. We were treated with gorgeous Fury foul weather jackets and gift certificates to the Surf Shack. What a wonderful and festive way to celebrate the holidays.
At Fury, we’re hoping that your holidays are filled with sweetness and good cheer! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
