Alright, I know there’s a million reasons to come out on a Fury trip: the sun, the ocean, the snorkeling, the parasailing, the sunset. But did you know that every Fury trip also includes all you can drink booze? That’s right! All you can drink beer, wine, and wine spritzers are offered on every single trip. When you’re on the sunset sail add champagne to the menu! The Commotion on the Ocean offers margaritas and the Rum and Reggae sunset and snorkel combination trip offers, you guessed it, Rum Punch! It’s safe to say, we’ve got you covered.
After serving up the same drinks day in and day out, I’ve gotten a kick out of creating a few special recipes with our available ingredients on the boat. Some of them are inspired by our customers and others by bars I’ve been to. When you’re out with Fury, please, drink up! And why not try one of these original recipes.
Beer Shandy
I learned this one from our European guests, typically from France or Germany. The recipe is pretty simple and the effect is quite tasty. Our taps are free flowing with Bud Light. All you have to do is add a splash of Sprite and you’ve got a slightly sweeter brew that has a flavor similar to a blonde ale or wheat beer. Yummy!
White Wine Sangria –Ultimate Adventure
Take our classic white wine spritzer, which mixes our Chablis wine with Sprite and add some muddled fruit from the buffet: strawberries, kiwi, melon, and orange. That’s a tropical concoction you can sip on all day long.
Sparkling Shayne –Commotion on the Ocean
Who doesn’t love a delicious margarita? What about topping it off with a little champagne? Sounds weird? Give it a try! There was a great bar in New York I used to frequent that served a similar cocktail and I decided to emulate it on the boat. Bandleader Cory Heydon, the night’s entertainment on the Commotion on the Ocean, made it his drink of choice and thus coined the name. I wanted to call it a Bubbly Margarita, but when the man on the microphone tells guests to try the Sparkling Shayne, well, the name sticks!
