We were honored to get a note from Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Parezo family to find out that little Brooke’s wish was to experience Key West’s barrier reef aboard our Glass Bottom Boat and see dolphins in the wild. They joined us this week aboard Fury Water Adventures.Key West Glass Bottom Boat

We’ve worked with Make-A-Wish families in the past and its the most rewarding and humbling experience to fulfill the dream of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Eliza and Derek, our marketing dynamic duo, made the arrangements for Brooke, her brother John, and parents Mark and Fran to join us aboard the Glass Bottom Boat first. A true mariner at heart, Brooke wore an adorable captain’s hat. That day, Captain Lou made sure it was smooth sailing, and his crew Carrie and Kevin took good care of everyone.

Through our windows to the sea, Brooke and her family saw a variety of coral formations, yellowtail snapper, barracuda, and so much more, while the crew conducted an educational talk on our marine ecosystem. They also learned fun facts about the island of Key West.

They joined us the next day aboard our Dolphin Watch and Snorkel adventure where they spotted dolphins in the wild–always a thrilling sight! Captain Steve F. and his crew Anthony did an amazing job on the trip.

We want to thank the Parezo family and the Make-A-Wish Foundation from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to spend a couple of days with Brooke to share the beauty of Key West’s water with her aboard our boats.
