We had the pleasure of hosting a very special Make-A-Wish guest at Fury Water Adventures. Garrett Lewis and his family, including his mom Shawna, dad Matthew, brother Jake and sister Alyssa visited us from Westport Island, Maine and joined us on a couple of Fury trips during their stay in Key West.

On March 2, they embarked on the afternoon Dolphin Watch & Snorkel Tour, led by Captains Ange and Nicole, to see resident Key West dolphins swim and play in their natural habitat. Afterwards, they went to the nearby wildlife refuge to snorkel along the shallow backcountry.

A couple of days later, Garrett and his family set sail on the Glass Bottom Boat Tour led by Captain Kerry, Kevin and Mike. They experienced North America’s only living coral reef and one of the most biologically diverse marine eco-systems, with over 300 species of fish inhabiting this colorful and intriguing underwater world. The special glass “windows to the reef” allowed for continuous viewing for everyone on board while the crew provided an informative eco-tour.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Garrett Lewis and his family, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and our awesome Fury crew. Check out some photos from Garrett’s trip below!
