Holy Chute, Chute Happens, Fly Girl, Fury Flyer, Sky High, and now… Sky Walker. At Fury Water Adventures, we now have six parasail boats in our fleet. We’ve long boasted the largest fleet in Key West and now that number’s, well… sky high! If we add anymore, I’m going to start forgetting the names of all of our girls!
Sky Walker arrived in Key West a couple of weeks ago and we got her outfitted in her Fury red, white, and blue before we put her in the water. Of course, all of our captains were excited to get behind the wheel and give her a spin in the harbor to see how she handled. The reviews are overwhelmingly positive and there’s a little competition at the shed every morning for who’s going to drive her.
She’s a 15-passenger vessel just like the Fury Flyer and Sky High, but as Captain Chuck Buck always says with every new boat that’s built for us the craftsmanship is that much better. It’s a dry ride on Sky Walker even with a little bit of wind and our captains are loving the big hatch and roomy engine room. Instead of the wraparound seating on Fury Flyer and Sky High, Sky Walker has its seat divided between the port and starboard side so that you–our guests–can be distributed more evenly on the boat.
She’s a sleek, spacious girl and I love how roomy the back deck is for harnessing up passengers and taking photos while you’re flying. Whether you’ve been parasailing with us before or you’re dying to try it, get down to Key West and hop on the newest boat in town!
