Nestled between the “fantastically festive” days at the end of October and the holiday bustle of December is the balanced and rather unassuming month of November. Whether you’re looking to waste it away in Margaritaville or rustle up some waves with the Superboats, you can find a variety of events for all personality types during this awesome autumn month in Key West.
The Best Meetings Are Held in Paradise
Join fellow Parrot Heads in Key West for five days of entertainment and charitable fun. Sing along to live performances by a variety of artists, give back to the community at the blood drive buses and lace up your shoes for the Zonta Walk/Run. The Casa Marina plays host to these live music sessions and parties and comes complete with gorgeous ocean views. Get out on the water with Fury’s special Parrot Head Commotion on the Ocean Sunset Sail; dance to the beat of live music, sip a margarita and take in the sunset.
Rev Your Engine
Get ready for a high speed, adrenaline–pumping event on the waters of Key West. The Super Boat International 36th Annual Key West World Championships is returning for another round of competition. See the race boats on display at the Truman Waterfront, watch the Boat Parade travel down Duval Street and cheer as these powerful vessels race for the win. Get up close to the action aboard Fury’s Official Turn Boat and Viewing Boat Experiences.
Lights, Camera, Action
Dim the lights and butter the popcorn. It’s time for the Key West Film Festival. Join filmmakers and film enthusiasts for more than 30 film screenings across the island. Scenic venues include historic theaters, beach shorelines and more. There will also be nightly receptions held at popular Key West venues, engaging panel discussions and movie selections by noteworthy film critics. Who knows, maybe you’ll catch the next summer blockbuster before it hits theaters.
Create a New Family Tradition
Make the waters of Key West your dining room table and celebrate Thanksgiving aboard Fury’s special holiday-themed Ultimate Adventure trip. With so many options packed into one afternoon, every member of the family will be begging for seconds. Sail out to sea aboard a state-of-the-art catamaran, snorkel North America’s only living coral reef, parasail 300 feet above the water, jet ski across the waves and bounce around on inflatable water toys. And for those who savor a homemade holiday meal, enjoy a plate with all the fixings, from roasted turkey and gravy to stuffing and mashed potatoes. This is sure to be your new Thanksgiving family tradition!
