Stephen & Krissy. Congratulations!
The Fury crew took a little road trip to the Tampa Bay area this weekend to celebrate the wedding of one of our favorite Fury couples! Stephen is one of the senior parasail crew (and one of my best friends!) and his beautiful wife Krissy is an extraordinaire at the Fury Surf Shack–they couldn’t run the shop without her! The couple has a beautiful two-year old Liam who is doted upon by everyone at Fury. He’s such an adorable and inquisitive baby boy!
Krissy is originally from the Tampa Bay area and they chose a gorgeous setting in the giant green backyard of her aunt’s house in Lutz. Her colors were grey and yellow, and her beautiful bridesmaids wore dresses in either color. The tables were set with yellow roses, baby’s breath, and cotton in glass jars. Yellow and white tissue paper flowers were strung from the tree where the ceremony took place.

Stephen described the wedding as a “backyard country barbecue,” and he and his Uncle Gary were the pit masters, smoking up beef brisket, chicken, corn on the cob, and even boiled peanuts. I was honored to be one of his groomsmen (yes, groomsmen–that’s a first!), and so were some of the other Fury “boys” Scotty, Mike, Holden, and JB. Hans, Agnes, Kaley, Lola, Demian, and Jamie all made the trip up for the celebration.
We had an amazing time and the DJ kept us dancing long into the night. There was a bonfire with s’mores at the end and everyone was in such good spirits. Congratulations Krissy and Stephen! I’m so happy for you guys and I know the rest of the Fury crew is too! See ya back in Key West soon!
