I came to Key West in 1991 to work for one month in a new art gallery that my boss was opening. After that month I went back to Long Island (where I grew up) packed my bags and grabbed what little money I had and went right back. I never looked back. I love Key West, and not just the place, but the people that make the place. I worked at the gallery, as a waitress at the Hogsbreath; then sailing on the magnificent water. I realized that I wanted the whole world to experience Key West. The reef, the sunset, Cuban coffee, conch, Hemingway’s house, the local art and artists—so so much. Today, as owner of We’ve Got the Keys, I have the best time showing everyone else the best time of their lives! From big corporate events to intimate weddings, group charters onboard Fury’s fleet and pretty much everything in between—I work with all the best companies, attractions and services in Key West. Meals entertainment, water sports, from arrival to departure, you name it. And what a blast—once I sent 80 sales agents from a big corporation in the Midwest out on Fury’s Ultimate Adventure. Some of them had never even seen the ocean—you should have seen their faces at the end of the day, like kids on Christmas morning! Let me tell you, Key West is a fabulous adventure…come enjoy the journey, you’ll fall in love just like I did.
